Mission

• To foster a vibrant nationwide community of sauna enthusiasts, while celebrating the diverse ways individuals experience and enjoy saunas and advocating for the appreciation of Finnish sauna culture 

• Act as an overarching network for public sauna businesses in Ireland 

It started with two Finns living in Ireland, both passionate about their home country’s most cherished tradition: the sauna. After building our own saunas, we saw a growing interest in this timeless practice, but we dreamed of something bigger—a community that celebrates and shares the true essence of sauna culture.

The Irish Sauna Association was born to unite sauna owners and enthusiasts, promoting the traditions and benefits of the Finnish sauna while embracing Ireland’s love for the outdoors. We aim to:

• Build a Community: Connect sauna enthusiasts across Ireland.
• Promote Sauna Culture: Share the history, etiquette, and wellness benefits of the Finnish sauna.
• Encourage Responsible Use: Advocate for safe and sustainable sauna practices.
• Inspire More Sauna Moments: From sea swims to ice baths or quiet reflection, make the sauna part of your life.
